The CFOP Is Back!
The CFOP is the College Football Opinion Poll. Led by our fearless leader, aka "The Commish," the CFOP sets out with the sole intent of laughing at ourselves and our favorite college football teams. We have a little fun & talk a little trash about our seemingly important ability to pick outcomes of football games decided by 18-23 (24-25-26???) year-olds. All in the name of keeping in touch with our family and friends around the country! We include the pollster's favorite teams every week. While the gold standard (of mediocrity) is our longstanding CFOP teams Nebraska, Kansas State, & Arkansas, we will also include Illinois, Tulane, Louisiana Tech, Kansas State, and many others in the weekly poll, so we can talk a little smack when they actually win!! Please invite your friends to join us. We would love to have CFOPers from all over the country join our little foray into fun and staying in touch throughout the football season!
The Rant
Weekly Winners have the option to do a "RANT" about the state of college footbal that week. It is meant to be a simple way to express your joys and frustrations along with a little humor and poke a little fun at others in the CFOP when their teams aren't doing so well!
Scoring System
Each week The Commish will choose 10-15 game where the CFOPers will pick the winners. Each game is worth a single point. Points will be tallied throughout the season. We will have weekly winners and an overall regular season champion!
The KISS Method
Keep It Simple and Strategic! We try to not use point spreads as much as possible to just make it a simple pick'em contest. But, we will use point spreads for the regular teams in the polls on weeks when they have a 10 point difference or more in their spread.

What is The CFOP?
The College Football Opinion Poll, or CFOP, is a weekly pick 'em contest centered around the Stoehr Family of Plattsmouth, Nebraska. The CFOP will have between 10-15 pick 'em games every week, highlighting the best games in college football, along with the mainstays of Nebraska, Kansas State, Arkansas, and Louisiana Tech in the poll. Other schools may appear weekly as a result of the membership of the CFOP.
How the CFOP Works
Each week a CFOP will be created using the best games of the week. Members must have their picks sent in before the games start for the week. Each game is worth 1 point in the standings.
